30 cute one-piece swimsuits

It’s almost swimsuit season…eeek! Are you sewing or buying one? I typically invest in a high quality swimsuit that lasts me 3-4 years. I got a new one 2 years ago and it is still good, so I’m not doing either this year! I have sewn about 3 swimsuits in the past though, it can be fun, but it is a high-pressure thing to sew. You know, it has to stand up all types of elements, waves, pools, toddlers perhaps and not fall off! Talk about pressure. Anyways, swimsuits aren’t that hard to sew, but you can’t sew everything all the time.

I am a fan of one-piece suits that flatter the body. I think everyone can look great in a good one-piece. Plus you typically don’t have to worry about it falling off as much. Anyways, one piece swimsuits can be hard to find! They are typically more expensive than two-pieces because they are harder to fit and require more fabric. From a sewer’s standpoint, they should be more expensive! Anyways, here are 30 really cute swimsuits in all price ranges that you can buy online!

This weekend starts the ‘Bombshell Bathing Suit’ for my oldest daughter, there will be tears, frustration and overall nastiness when it is done but hopefully it fits and holds up to the summer stress.

Lots of super cute cozzies there. I have to admit I am very boring when it comes to togs. I have a nice bright pair of speedos that are practical for all sorts of mishaps in the pool with my three little peeps. I bought a fancy pair a few years ago that only lasted a season, not because they wore out, but because they were no good for lap swimming. Your post is so timely, because even though I don’t feel like making any for myself, I literally just posted an instagram of a super cute tutu pair that I just finished making for my 6year old.

Great round up! I have an abnormally long torso, so I have SUCH a hard time with the one piece suit. The mismatched top and bottom sizes plus a reaalllly long torso make me want to sew one, pronto! And by pronto I mean next summer…. ha.
