freaking amazing fabric deal!

Welcome to See Kate Sew! If you're new here, sign up for my email newsletter for access to free patterns, tutorials and all the latest sewing news!

And I don’t use those words lightly.

This is not a sponsored post. But seeing as I ordered nearly 24 yards of fabric last Saturday night and then another 12 this morning, I thought I should share the love and let you know about the 50% off sale at Fashion Fabrics Club.

I got all of my almost 24 yards for under $100(shipping included), which averages out like 4 bucks a yard. And that includes some nice wool and stuff that is normally $10-20! And I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I went and got over 12 more yards of fabric for about the same price. It’s going to last for months and months!

Here’s the sale page with links to the sale fabrics, pages and pages of them. There are pages and pages of fabric, it took me a few hours to place my order. I ordered the most from the $2.45 section. The sales ends on the 18th, so you might want to hurry (before I buy it all)!

This is the most damage I’ve done in one fabric shopping “trip” ever. Over 36 yards! What is the worst you’ve ever done? I hope it all fits in my sewing space, I’m not really sure what 36 yards of fabric is going to look like!

TeeHeeeee! I ordered 30 yards of linen last year and it came on this super huge roll. My boys thought I was a freak because I sat there for a bit just to stare at it! :) Thanks for the enabling information! I’m headed over.

Well, I’m not sure if I should be mad at you or give you a big virtual hug. :) That is a huge amount of fabric… I look forward to seeing that 36 yard pile!!

Thanks for the link. I’m curious – how many different fabrics did you end up with from your big purchase?

Wow! Thanks for sharing! I don’t think I can resist such a good bargain. I’m a bit of a novice sewist. When you’re buying fabric without a project in mind, how many yards to you usually get?

I usually buy 1-2 yards depending on what I think I might use it for. 1 for kids clothes, 2 for women’s, somewhere in between for coats and dresses! I just guess

Thank you so much for sharing this!! How did you get free shipping?

Oh, sorry to be confusing, the shipping wasn’t free, but I got all that fabric for less than $100 with shipping included in the calculation. I think shipping was about 11 dollars. so the fabric was about 80 something :)
