I'm over at Gugu Guru again to day with a 3rd installment in a little maternity refashion series! I've had fun with this series (fake belly and all!) so I hope you've enjoyed it too! This top is actually great for those without a belly as well, it fits like a cute swing top. So hop over to see the full tutorial, including how to make the cute tie, AND enter to win a Ryla Pack Diaper bag! I've found that diaper bags are super great "creative" bags as well because of all the pockets, so if you aren't in need of a diaper bag, surely you need a new ...Continue Reading

here for the right reasons and other Bachelor themed Valentines
It's Janu-ARIE and this is when I come clean about a 6 year addiction I just can't quit. The Bachelor (season like 20 something) premieres tonight and I'M SO EXCITED. I started watching this stupid franchise show when I was super sick and pregnant with my baby girl. And I just can't stop. Every season I tell my husband and friends I'm going to quit. And I usually watch every episode, ha! Anyways, I'm over being embarrassed about it. It's so FUNNY. So CLICHE. The same every time. And I can't stop. Arie was totally in the first season I ...Continue Reading
NYE crushed velvet and pleather dress with JOANN
This post is sponsored by JOANN. These photos are a bit hilarious. I thought about redoing the photoshoot after Mae had a day, but then I realized they are kinda perfect, too. I'm sewing for my life, and that involves a bit of tears, rocking and chasing babies, a little comforting and this dress is kinda perfect for all of those! I worked with JOANN to create a New Year's Eve look using fabrics from their stores. I love the glitz and glam of New Years Eve and the freshness of the holiday. It's a total fashion inspiration, too! So ...Continue Reading

I love sticking little gifts into a handmade zipper pouch for the ...Continue Reading

ROSIE TOP BFF SHOOT
We took this cute little friend shoot a few weeks ago. I loved this Dear Stella dot fabric, it matches my daughter's wallpaper even! So sewing up 2 of these cuties was super fun! They are 1 size apart and we got matching jeans (from HERE) and ROSE GOLD shoes (from HERE) for the occasion. Super fun and so cute! I love how the Rosie fits, the high-low hem is really cute. I know I designed it that way, but I love how you get a little peek of baby belly sometimes! ;) It was a bit cold and my daughter was a bit jealous to have to share the ...Continue Reading

Girl’s Holiday Ruffle Dress Tutorial
I'm thrilled to share these holiday ruffle dresses with you today! I used two really fun fabrics for this, one neutral linen and one glitzy pleather! I always love a good neutral fabric but I also love shiny things so I picked two fabrics to showcase this dress in two different ways! I love using solid colors for holiday dresses because they work for Christmas without being blatant, so you can use them again after the holidays, too. I like these ones for New Year's Eve, too!
