There are two sizes included. Use your cat’s collar to help you choose the right size, you just want to have at least and inch or so on either side of the collar. If you have an average or small cat choose the small size. If you have a larger breed, the large size might be right for you!

How to sew a cat bandana

Use a 1/4″ seam allowance

Cut out 1 bandana from your main fabric and 1 from the lining fabric.

Back your main fabric with fusible interfacing – you don’t need to interface the lining.

Pin the pieces together at the top.

Sew the top edge with a 1/4″ seam allowance.

Press pieces open with the seam allowance pressed to the lining side.

Topstitch on the lining about 1/8″ from the seam, catching the seam allowance underneath.

Fold under 1/4″ on the sides and press.

Sew.

Fold bandana with right sides together and press. Pin and sew from the casing to the point and to the other side of the casing, backstitching where your stitching starts and stops.
