I love striped pillows and this one is super fast to make because it starts with precut fabric! This jelly roll pillow is so quick and cute!

Materials:
- Jelly Roll Strips(affiliate links) (We only need 15 strips cut down to 16″)
- 1 yard backing Fabric
- 3/4 yard lining fabric
- Pillow insert – 14″ x 28″
- Spray Baste
- Batting
- For optional applique: Heat N Bond Lite, Scallop Scissors and contrast fabric with matching thread

How to sew a jelly roll pillow
We are going to start by picking 15 strips from the roll. Cut them down to 16″.

Sew the strips together in a panel and press the seam allowances to one side.

Spray baste the panel to a piece of batting. Topstitch along the strips to hold the layers together and add a cute quilted topstitching.

Trim the panel down to 15″ by 29.”

To add appliqué letters, back a contrast color of fabric with Heat N Bond Lite. Print large letters from your computer and cut the letters from fabric with Heat N Bond on the back. Iron them to the panel and then topstitch around the letters.

Cut a lining piece from any fabric using the jelly strips panel as your template. You won’t see this fabric, so it can by anything!

Place the lining on the back of the striped panel with the wrong side against the batting of the panel.

Cut 2 back pieces measuring 36″ x 15″.

Fold both in half and press. Topstitch along the fold.

Place one of the back pieces right sides down on the panel lined up with the side edges. Repeat with the second piece. They will overlap about 5″ or so. Sew around the whole pillow cover 3/8-1/2″ from the edges.

Clip the corners to reduce bulk before turning right side out. Give the pillow cover another press and then stuff it with your pillow form!
