I love sewing with precut fabrics! Charm squares are 5″ quilting squares already cut and packaged in a little stack. These are so easy to start projects with!

This hot pad is so summery with a gorgeous floral charm pack! Make a jumbo hot pad, perfect for casseroles and potlucks with just a few charm squares!
- 12 Charm Squares (I’m using Riley Blake Garden Party in Trifle)
- 1 Fat Quarter for backing
- Needled quilt batting
- Spray baste
Dog Bed Using Charm Squares
Let’s make the cutest quilty dog bed! This is a great soft bed to slip into a crate or keep on the floor so your pooch always has a nice spot to rest. I made this for a medium/small dog. It will fit snugly in a medium crate. If you want to make a bigger size, just adjust the amount of charm squares. After sewing the 5″ squares together, the final size will be 4.5″ so use that measurement for calculating how many you need.
- Charm Squares
- 3/4 yard contrast fabric for the bottom
- Lightweight fusible interfacing
- Quilt batting
- Basting spray
- Fiberfill stuffing
Charm Square Tote Bag
A charm square tote bag is a fun and useful way to use a few extra charm squares! You can use charm squares for just the front and use a contrast for the back, or make charm square panels for both sides!
- 24 charm squares or 1 charm pack, I’m using Albion
- 1/2 yard fabric for lining
- 1/2 yard lightweight fusible interfacing
- 1″ nylon webbing/strapping for straps
- Fray check
