If you missed the December 1st advent start, there is still time to make this Scrunchie Advent Calendar DIY! You can always do a 12-day countdown with this idea – 12 days of scrunchies and bows! I made all these scrunchies and bows with the new Pattern of the Month Bow & Scrunchie Pack – which is a bonus Mystery pattern for December!
Now that I have 3 daughters I’m finding that we are always in a hair bow shortage! So it was fun to make a bow or scrunchie for each day counting down to Christmas! I thought of a few ways to wrap them up or display them so you can choose how you do it!
I love these festive fabrics from Riley Blake – they are two lines. Winterberry is full of cute traditional motifs and colors, plus some modern plaids! Merry and Bright is the other line that is bright and playful with some cute deer and ornament prints.
I used basic wrapping paper for these, but added custom number tags that look like ornaments! I cut them with my Cricut Maker.

Wondering if there is a pattern or tutorial for a scunchie without the bow ends. Just round. Does that make sense?
