Scrap Fabric Ideas – Leftover Strip Placemats (or use a Jelly Roll!)
For this project we are using leftover 2.5″ strips! I always have a bin of these leftover from different quilt bindings so today I’m using them to create gorgeous placemats. You can also use a jelly roll if you don’t have enough strips.
Placemats make everything more festive and totally pull a table together! Use different fabrics for different occasions. This tutorial is available right here! There is no printable pattern, just measurements!
Embroidery Hoop Ornament
These cute ornaments can be hung on a Christmas tree or used for wall decor! This is another way to use those fabric “crumbs” or tiny little scraps! This project uses scraps smaller than an inch so it’s perfect for scraps you might throw away! Click here to see the full tutorial!
4 Color Tissue Holder
These tissue holders are super fun because you can use 4 fabrics for the front. It has a patchwork effect without actually being patchwork and the opening for the tissues doesn’t have any closure! Get the 4-Color Tissue Holder Tutorial HERE!
