Use a 3/8″ seam allowance.
Cut two fish shapes from your fabrics, one from each print. Back both with lightweight fusible interfacing.
Cut out two small fish shapes from your chip bag or crinkle material. Set crinkle material aside.
Sew front and back of fish toy together with right sides together using a 3/8″ seam allowance. Leave a 2-3″ opening at the straight edge of the fish’s tail for turning.
Trim and clip seam allowance and turn fish right side out. Press out corners with a point turner.
Press fish. Insert crinkle material into fish and tack near tail by stitching and backstitching the exterior.
Close opening and press. Topstitch 1/8″ from the edges of the tail to finish the fish toy!
