New pattern available now!! This fun and simple dress is the ideal dress for SUMMER! So that’s what I’m calling it- the EASY SUMMER DRESS PATTERN! This pattern is so great because it can be made with ALL your favorite quilting cottons. The pattern comes in sizes 2-10Y and is available right HERE!
The straps of the dress are elastic, so it’s easy on and off! It’s carefree and great for over a swimsuit if you like to spend your summers at the pool!
The strap has an optional ruffle add-on. A clever constructions makes it simple to attach but flawless on the inside! And a gathered skirt tops it off!
There are even POCKETS! Add large side pockets that reach the hem or cute patch pockets with a coordinate for summer collecting! Think shells, tiny dolls and flowers!
I sewed this one up with my new fabric line Kiss Me, Kate. The print is Lipstick tubes in white. The white print has shades of purple lipstick, dark to lavender. It’s one of my favorite prints and I love how the dress showcases it. I added the same print in the purple color way as the deep side pockets.

Love the pattern! Can you tell me how much material approximately a 3T and a size 6 would require? I’m wanting to see what I have that I can work with before purchasing the pattern. Thank you!

I’m looking forward to making this dress for each of my 6 granddaughters! I just have a question about the PDF file – when I print it out, my printer gives me the option of “fit to size” or “actual size”. I’m assuming I want the “actual size” since that probably reflects the true sizing?
Thank you!
