The Mountain Town quilt pattern is new this month for July’s Pattern of the Month! This adorable quilt makes a nice Christmas couch quilt with it’s cozy wintery vibes! This post also has a list of more mountain quilt patterns for all your outdoorsy sewing escapades!
The Mountain Town Quilt features a little forest town with homes, a schoolhouse (or church) and two kinds of trees! Use solids as shown or choose Christmasy prints. I even think this one could make a really spooky Halloween quilt!
The template blocks are really fun to create. Mix it up and create your own town layout or use the provided layout. The quilt pattern comes in one size for a throw quilt, however if you want a larger or smaller quilt, just sew more blocks and adapt to your desired size.
This pattern is made with templates that are included in the pattern and can be printed off your home computer. Sign up for Pattern of the Month to get a new quilt pattern each month (at an awesome discount!) or find the Mountain Town quilt in the shop!

The Snowy Mountain Quilt
The Snowy Mountain Quilt features snow-capped mountains. Use solids for this quilt or mix in a few nature prints to add more dimension! This quilt pattern includes 4 quilt sizes from wall hanging to twin, but is also easily adaptable for a larger quilt. Make a few of these for a mountain cabin!
The pattern includes SVG files for the phrase “The Mountains are Calling and I must Go” that can be applied to the quilt with iron-on vinyl! Such a sweet and inspiring quilt.
The Modern Arrows Quilt
The Modern Arrows Quilt has total mountain vibes featuring gorgeous triangular peaks. I love this design as a baby quilt – use any color combinations!
For this version I made for a new baby girl, I used a bold floral as the background! I love the black and white stripe as the backing and binding. This quilt pattern includes 4 sizes from baby to twin.
