Last year I made a blue DIY baby shark costume complete with a downloadable fin and tail! I still love that costume and all the DOO DOO DOOs on the front! I wanted to make a Pink Fong inspired version for a baby or toddler this year starting from a hoodie set!
I put some DOO DOO DOO lettering on the bum for the baby costume- hahah! This set is so easy to make – it’s a great no-sew Halloween costume and the baby shark eyes are made of felt!
The teeth are craft foam glue to the inside of the hood! Since I started with a hoodie set this DIY baby shark costume is fast and makes a great last-minute Halloween costume!
And the little fin on top is magenta craft foam that matches! This costume is SO easy to make! See more Halloween costumes in the Halloween archives!

DIY Baby Shark Hoodie Tutorial
Cut out all the pieces from felt. You can print the templates and cut them by hand or upload the SVG to your cutting machine and cut them out that way!
Use a hot glue gun to glue the black parts of the eyes to the white parts.
Then attach the eyes to the hoodie. Add the eyelashes, nostrils and mouth.
Attach the shark teeth to the inside of the hood using glue gun.
Cut the iron-on vinyl letters out with mirror-image on and use the EasyPress 2 to attach to the back of the pants. Read more about iron-on vinyl in this post!
