sweet scallops tote sew-a-long

Welcome to See Kate Sew! If you’re new here, sign up for my email newsletter for access to free patterns, tutorials and all the latest sewing news! Tour my sewing room HERE!

All the deets about the sew-up/link-up that you guys requested!

I thought this tote would be a great sew-a-long project because no matter what, each one will be totally unique and fun to look at! So…here’s how it will work:

  • The Sweet Scallops Tote Pattern was posted earlier today. Print out the pattern and get sew it up! Feel free to add your own touches wherever you please!
  • Next week I will post a link party where you can link up YOUR blog post about your tote bag.
  • You have until November 15th (over a month!) to link up your bag!

Then I’ll feature a bunch. Or maybe all of them. We’ll see!

Are you in?

I completed my tote bag and it was a blast doing it… great tutorial, Kate! Unfortunately, I’m not totally thrilled with my results, but that is because I didn’t make the greatest fabric choices. Will definitely try this one again in the future, with a better fabric collection:
