Elf apron Instructions
Cut out 2 layers of the apron pattern, on the fold. Cut 1 from main fabric and 1 from lining. This apron is reversible, so you can use two cute, festive fabrics!
Cut two pieces of ribbon 4″ long and two 7″ long for the ties.
Pin short straps along the top edge, 1/4″ from sides. Baste.
Pin long straps on sides 1/4″ from top. Baste
Fold straps in so they don’t get caught in a seam.
Lay lining face down on main fabric with ribbons inside. Sew all the way around with a 1/4″ seam allowance, leaving a 1.25″ opening on one side. Clip corners.
Turn right side out and press well. Topstitch around the apron, closing the opening as you sew.
