Sew a Cat Christmas Ornament
Cut out two layers of black felt. Tie 14″ of ribbon into a knot and then a bow as shown.
Add iron-on vinyl or a cat face design with 3D fabric paint. If you are using the provided Karma is a Cat design, upload the image to your vinyl cutting software.
When dry, pin the ribbon hanger in between the felt layers are the top.
Sew around the cat outline 1/8″ from the edges using black thread with straight stitches, pivoting around the curves. Leave a small 1″ opening at the bottom. Stuff the ornament with just a little bit of stuffing to give it a dimensional look. Then finish topstitching the rest of the ornament closed.
If you are gluing, do the same but use a thin line of glue on the outside edges to glue the two layers together. Leave an opening, stuff and then finish gluing.
It’s ready to hang and is the perfect holiday decor for a Swiftie or cat lover! These easy ornaments also make great gifts to open Christmas morning!
