There a zipper pouch for that! It’s no secret that I love making zipper pouches. They are my #1 project for when you’re in a creative slump (see my other recommendations here) and they can’t be used for so. many. things! This velvet zipper pouch has iron-on roses all over. Using iron-on on velvet is extra fun because it gives it another texture! I used holographic iron-on and created this abstract rose design.
Now that I’m back to using a diaper bag, I need a clutch to put all my stuff in so it doesn’t get poopy or milk spilled all over it! The velvet is extra thick so it’s nice for that, but it also makes a good date night clutch! This size fits some iPads, too!

Instructions//
Upload the JPG file above to Cricut Design Space. Select “Simple” as the image type.
Hit continue and Design Space will take you to the Select & erase screen. Erase all he grey areas in the image so you just have a simple black outline.
Save the images as a Cut Image.
Now you will have a BIG rose on your canvas.
The rose design will upload much larger than you probably want it, so resize it to your liking. My roses are about 5″ across but since this is your project, make them whatever size you want!
Hit MAKE and then adjust the project copies at the top to 5.
Select Holographic Sparkle Iron-on as your material and set up the machine accordingly.
Cut them out and then use the EasyPress to iron them on! Arrange them in a random pattern! Follow the instructions in this post if you’ve never done this before.
And then make a basic zipper pouch! The fabric for this pouch starts 13″ wide by 11″ tall.
