I made this during the oilcloth + leather series, but I had a little SD card fiasco. I lost all my photos! But then I found my card and all is well. So here is an encore project - a round zipper case tutorial ;). One fun thing about leather is that it can be pretty sturdy. Some types are thicker or less pliable than others which makes for a challenge when sewing. This project uses that stability to it's advantage! This rounded leather zipper pouch is nice and sturdy and makes a cute little holder that stands up on it's own. Which is ...Continue Reading
pattern fusion // the Zenelope Top
Zenelope or Pippy, I guess it could be either! This is top is a fusion of two of my favorite patterns: The Penelope Top and the Zippy Top! I used the Zippy Top crop top length then added the peplum piece from the Penelope Pattern to create a zippy peplum! I think it is a pretty fun twist on two simple patterns. I've sewn up so many Penelopes and Zippys that this came together really quickly. (Both patterns come in sizes XXS to XXXL now! Woo! They are in my big cartel shop) I'm excited about the fabric, too! It's a little design I created and ...Continue Reading
dreamer top hack // lace yoke top tutorial
This is my new favorite top! I've been wearing it at least once a week since I made it. I just love a top that is easy to wear and makes me feel cute. My favorite tops always tend to have lace, too. The Dreamer Top is already a SUPER fast sew. It will take you less than an hour, no matter what level you are! Add this little hack may add a few extra minutes ...Continue Reading

FOX PJS! // Boys Pajama Pants Pattern + Applique
And a matching shirt! I made this little pajama set for my son and he loves it! Ann Kelle sent me some of her flannels to try out. I chose these cute foxes, I love the colors in it! The little foxes are so sweet so I made a large applique fox recess raglan to go along with the pants. I just happened to have some perfect knits to match the colors in the flannel. It's such a soft outfit, I'm really happy with it! The fox fabric in aqua is from the Urban Zoologie Flannel collection by Ann Kelle. There are lots of other cute ...Continue Reading
