Download HERE This is a free 8x10 printable that is great for a nursery or kids room! I wanted to have a little print to go along with the Gold Collar Girl Dress. The name "Gold Collar Girl" came from the gold collar on the dress (obvious, right!) but I also played off the "white-collar" or "blue-collar" descriptions of working people. (And I guess there is a pink-collar, too, I didn't know that!) But anyways, the idea behind this printable is that, equipped with a gold-collar dress, this baby was born to shine. No one needs to ...Continue Reading

cotton + chiffon soho blouse
More Soho! I had to share this Soho blouse made with chiffon on the lower half. I found this arrowhead chiffon a while back and wasn't sure what to do with it. But the Soho skirt is pretty perfect for chiffon! Especially with summer coming up. I'm happy with how the blouse turned out, but I really wished I had had enough fabric to make the arrowheads go up or down instead of side to side. I paired the chiffon with a black cotton fabric. This is View A of the Soho Blouse, with a straight hem (versus the angled hem versions I have already ...Continue Reading
one hour hexagon quilt + the pillowcase bind
Today I'm sharing a new ONE HOUR QUILT! This quilt is very similar to my One Hour Triangle Quilt but instead of triangles it's covered with hexagons! I love this large hexagon design in aqua! I also made a few other colors. This fabric is printed by Spoonflower, so there is no quilt piecing needed! Just print it off, back it and quilt it! And there is no binding on this one! I'm showing you a quick technique called the Pillowcase bind that is great for baby quilts because it holds up better with multiple washes. One Hour ...Continue Reading

a little Easter dress
Just popping in today to share some photos of this little spring dress! It's becoming a tradition to make a bunny print dress for my daughter every Easter. I don't think it was on purpose, it's just so hard to pass up cute bunny fabric! This fabric is from Dear Stella, the bunny fabric is called "Playground Bunnies Peach" and the mint heart fabric is from the same line and is called "Playground Hearts Mint". I love them together. I actually made this dress a while ago, it was one of my rough drafts when developing ...Continue Reading
bunny nightgown + bunny slippers pattern
Easter is coming up quick and I haven't gotten my fill of bunnies yet! So here is one of my last bunny projects, a bunny slippers pattern! (Also see the free bunny plush pattern if you missed it!) I made this nightgown with flannel bunny fabric fabric from Ann Kelle. I used my Harper Top pattern and extended it a few inches (about 6") to make a cute little dress. It was easy and I love the short length and sleeves for summer. After I made the nightgown, I had some extra bunny fabric and thought some slippers would be fun. The ...Continue Reading

It's easy to sew, I recommend it to any confident beginner. pattern fusion // sophie shift + callie top in LEOPARD!
Another Pattern Fusion! I'm loving just mashing two patterns together, it's super fast and fun! This is two of my own patterns, the Sophie Shift with the Callie Top, both from the Garden Party Collection. The Sophie Shift is a simple shift dress with a zipper in the back. I sewed it up in this leopard knit fabric (from Girl Charlee, it's still available!) so I left the zipper out. The simple modification is using the small ruffle from the Callie Top, and sewing it in the sleeve! I also skipped the collar and just ...Continue Reading
