I am always losing my SD cards! It's like a disease. I think a better term for that is toddler! But then I am always hiding my cards from him and inadvertently hiding them from myself. So....I made this cute and fast vinyl SD card holder to keep them all in order and out of reach. And it slips right into the pocket of my new lilac Gracie bag. Check out Sewing In No Man's Land for more skirts! I've had this purple matte jersey laying around forever. I love the color and the drape is really fun. Since it is matte, it kinda has that grandma skirt feel, so I pleated it. I think it looks like something you might find at a thrift store. // Heart tights: Forever 21 // shoes: Modcloth // // top (it's actually a dress, tucked in): Asian ...Continue Reading

buy + diy: shimmer and shine diy nail polish kit tutorial
This post is sponsored by Tulip Holiday Sparkle and Shine products. My taste in fun little gifts hasn't really changed since middle school, I still love all the cute nail polish kits, makeup samplers, etc that pop up around the holidays. So, when a little package of glittery craft supplies came in the mail, I thought I could use them to make a cute stocking stuffer for girls. I started with a solid light pink material, taped if off and painted on the glittery Tulip fabric paint. Then I let it dry before sewing it up into a cute ...Continue Reading
fabric covered hair clips tutorial
Today I'll be sharing a fabric covered hair clips tutorial. I've seen a lot of cute hair clips floating around Pinterest, and tried (unsuccessfully) to make glitter covered clips in the past. After my glitter hair clip attempt I thought it would be easier, and hopefully look nicer, to cover clips in fabric instead. I love the way they turned out. I think they would make a great small Christmas gift, or dress up your holiday outfits.
