We are super into LOL Surprise crafts right now and this one is really fast and easy! In this post I will show you how to make a DIY ribbon sash for your tiny little dolls. We made these look like beauty pageant ribbons but then say things like “clever girl” and “super nice” to emphasize more important things that each of the dolls can strive for! ;) These are perfect for adding to your LOL doll fashion show and great for bringing up conversations about worthy attributes to aspire to with your daughters! You only need a few materials! I used iron-on vinyl to add words to satin ribbon.

Materials//
–3/8″ ribbon
–iron-on vinyl + EasyPress 2
-glue gun
-SVG cut file, download below

INSTRUCTIONs//
Cut out the words with iron-on vinyl using a Cricut or other cutting machine. Make sure you cut them out Mirror image on.
Stick them to the ends of the ribbon, about 2″ from one end and fuse the vinyl to the ribbon at 305* for 30 seconds. I am using my EasyPress 2 for this!
Peel the plastic off. Wrap the ribbon around your doll’s shoulder and under the other arm. Pinch and trim the ribbon. Then cut the ends into a V shape.
Glue ribbon ends together with a hot glue gun.
Ta-da! 
If you need to get these on and off later, you can always take the head off and put it back on ;)
