one hour hexagon quilt + the pillowcase bind
Today I'm sharing a new ONE HOUR QUILT! This quilt is very similar to my One Hour Triangle Quilt but instead of triangles it's covered with hexagons! I love this large hexagon design in aqua! I also made a few other colors. This fabric is printed by Spoonflower, so there is no quilt piecing needed! Just print it off, back it and quilt it! And there is no binding on this one! I'm showing you a quick technique called the Pillowcase bind that is great for baby quilts because it holds up better with multiple washes. One Hour ...Continue Reading

fabric covered hair clips tutorial
Today I'll be sharing a fabric covered hair clips tutorial. I've seen a lot of cute hair clips floating around Pinterest, and tried (unsuccessfully) to make glitter covered clips in the past. After my glitter hair clip attempt I thought it would be easier, and hopefully look nicer, to cover clips in fabric instead. I love the way they turned out. I think they would make a great small Christmas gift, or dress up your holiday outfits. Free Barrette Base Template See the video here to see how to use this variation ...Continue Reading

This is a great way to use up lots of scraps! And is also a perfect beginner sewing project. This might be the easiest quilt I've ever made.
