You’ve already seen these photos over in the Scallop Clutch tutorial but I have to use them again to show you this DIY ruffle sleeve top made from the ZIPPY top pattern.
This is yet another Zippy hack. I just can’t help hacking it up all different ways! This is the women’s version of the Little Zippy hack and it’s actually exactly the same instructions. So head over and follow the instructions. The only difference in the pattern is the width of the sleeve. You can choose how long you want your ruffle to be, mine is about 6″.
I used Art Gallery Observer Indigo for the top, it’s a great weight for the zippy top!
Here are the rest of the Zippy hacks I have shared over the years:
Gathered Dress- This option is a super fast and easy project that you can make with either wovens or knits!
Zippy + Penelope- This is top is a fusion of two of my favorite patterns: The Penelope Top and the Zippy Top!
Zippy + Decorative Pocket- Adding a tiny decorative pocket to anything is really easy!
Gathered Loose Blouse- This is a comfy, simple hack!
Zippy + Front Zipper- This simple hack is perfect for nursing mamas!
Zippy Turned Jumpsuit- I never thought about how comfortable a jumpsuit would be until I made this one, I love this hack!
Zippy Dress– This is a dress you can whip up and wear again and again!
Tie Front Top– This is a simple hack with a free pattern for the ties.
Happy Sewing!
